Occasionally we come across barrel staves that have knots in them. These staves are rare as they are typically discarded by the cooper because they can cause leaks in the barrels. That being the case we carefully cut these staves to produce truly one of a kind unique bowls. Some of these knots create grain patterns that are absolutely beautiful. Each "Knot" bowl is serialized photographed and listed individually on our site for sale.
